The Maintenance & Repair video was shot on location in Hinesburg, Vermont and Lakeland, Florida, between November, '05 and April, '06. (Needless to say, the indoor scenes were shot in Vermont!) Special thanks to Jamis Bicycles for providing the Dakar and Dakar Sport bikes used on location in Vermont, and to Manny and the crew at University Bicycle Center in Tampa, FL for hooking us up with the awesome Specialized bikes used on location in Florida.

For some people, bike maintenance is a way of life. Here's Tim getting ready for the next day's shoot on location in Florida.

A lot of bikers seem to be into video also, so you might be interested in knowing that the video was shot using a Sony PD-150 and finished in Final Cut Pro Studio 5. The deep feature set of DVD Studio Pro was used to create the interactive branching structures on the DVD. And, naturally, the original music tracks were created using Apple's Garage Band.

All of the videography, editing, graphics, music and DVD authoring was done by Ken French of Ken French Media. Ken has found it a real pleasure to combine his love of mountain biking with his video production skills. And, along the way he has learned how to take better care of his bike.
